OUR CAREER STORIES Popular Roles Support Worker: Wirral Greasby, Wirral , United Kingdom £15.50 Per Hour Complex Care Support Worker At the request of our client, this role is open to female applicants only. Skilled Support Workers, we have an exciting opportunity for you to step up and help support a lady in her thirties who requires support, including urostomy care, advanced mental health support and wound care. As a self-confessed night owl, our client typically heads to bed between 11pm and 1am, so some support may be needed during the night. This could include offering drinks, helping with repositioning, or simply providing a bit of emotional support and company. Location: Greasby, Wirral Pay: Up to £15.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement) Package: 1:1 basis during both the day and sleep shifts Shifts: Long day sleeps, 24-hour shifts starting at 9:00am to 11:00pm and then a sleep shift from 11:00pm to 9:00am About the Role You will be supporting a lady who is in her thirties who has Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, Crossed Quadriplegia, Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), as well as anxiety and depression Our client loves getting out and about across the UK but also enjoys quiet time to recharge, requiring Support Workers who can understand that balance We are looking for Support Workers who will take the time to get to know our client, people who are understanding and bubbly, who understand our client has full capacity. While he is nonverbal, our client can communicate via his eye movement This role involves providing tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and movement via a hoist, as our client has paralysis on his left side. I have been described as cheeky by my team of established Support Workers, and I love chatty personalities. My Support Requirements I have an acquired brain injury and am nonverbal, communicating with eye movement. At times, I can have seizures and I regularly need tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and movement via a hoist, as I have paralysis on his left side.
