CONTACT US Our Awards & Strategic Partnerships The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards Our Service Improvement Team achieved national recognition as the winners for the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Award at the 2026 National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards. This shortlisting celebrates our unwavering commitment to rights-based, person-centred support and expertise in understanding behaviour as communication. Our evidence-based PBS approach, including visual systems, structured routines, and sensory strategies, supports communication, choice, community participation, and re-engagement with family and education. Through reflective, no-blame practice via our Client Safety Incident Response Framework, resilience training, and structured debriefs, we have fostered a supportive culture focused on supporting clients to enjoy a fulfilling life. Nursing Times Awards Megan Floyd, Branch Nurse, was recognised by the Nursing Times Awards as a finalist for the 2025 Nursing in Social Care award. This recognition follows her development of an integrated clinical workforce programme, which has transformed our approach to clinical care. Through this initiative, Megan and our Nursing team have strengthened our workforce’s clinical skills, enhanced our care delivery, and consistently championed social care nursing. Great British Care Awards At the 2025 North West Great British Care Awards, we proudly celebrated two finalists, with one achieving Highly Commended status. Megan Floyd, Branch Nurse, received the Highly Commended title in the Social Care Nurse category for her innovative clinical workforce development programme, which has elevated clinical care across our services. Sarah Perrin, Support Worker, was a finalist in the Dignity in Care category, recognised for her dedication to promoting dignity, independence, and person-centred care. Age-friendly Employer Pledge We have signed the Age-friendly Employer Pledge as part of our commitment to fostering an inclusive workforce. We value the experience and insight that people in their 50s and 60s bring, and we are passionate about supporting a multigenerational workforce. AoHT Our in-house training team are proud members of AoHT (Association of Healthcare Trainers). Our Trainers provide engaging training programmes, using a variety of approaches including eLearning and in-person training to give our Support teams the knowledge and skills to provided tailored support to the individual in their care. By partnering with AoHT, our Training team are showing their commitment to working in-line with the AoHT code of ethics. BABICM As a trusted complex care provider, we work closely with case management companies to support clients with brain injuries and complex needs. We are a member of BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management), an organisation that supports professionals working with individuals with brain or complex injuries. From training programmes and evidence-based practices to collaborative working and outlining standards of practice, BABICM provides vital tools that help drive continuous quality improvement, which is central to our approach across all services. Bild Here at Amore Complex Care, we are passionate about encouraging independence and supporting our clients reach their goals. That is why we are a member of Bild – an organisation that champions the rights of people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. Cyber Essentials Certified Our Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining robust cyber security standards. This UK government-backed certification confirms that we have implemented essential security controls to help protect our systems, data, and stakeholders against common cyber threats, providing confidence that security is a core part of how we operate. Epona As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have invested in an AI tool – Epona, to support our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) service. Epona is a secure platform that uses AI to streamline PBS planning, enabling collaborative working between our teams, clients, and families. Live support plans can be updated at any time, and the system tracks quality of life using the PERMA model. Contributions can be made via voice notes, text, photos, or videos, giving us flexibility in how we capture insights and plan support. This approach helps us deliver consistent, person-centred PBS services. iplanit We use a range of digital tools to enhance care quality, accuracy, and efficiency, ensuring we deliver excellent, person-centred care. One tool is iplanit, a care planning system with a strong outcome-focused, person-centred approach. iplanit enables real-time quality monitoring, action and goal tracking, personalised care plans, and comprehensive progress reporting. It also allows us to keep Case Managers and families updated on the support their loved one or client receives. Magenta Living Magenta Living is Wirral’s largest social housing provider, delivering high-quality, affordable homes while supporting people to live independently. We have worked in partnership with Magenta Living to develop two bespoke bungalows for our clients, each carefully adapted to meet their individual needs. The properties were designed with specialist equipment, reconfigured internal layouts to support sensory requirements, and future-proofed features to accommodate any changes in mobility over time. This collaborative approach has created safe, accessible homes that promote independence and enhance quality of life. Mitti Our Service Improvement team also uses Mitti to run internal inspections, ensuring our support meets the high standards our clients need to flourish. Mitti streamlines operations such as health and safety inspections, audit trails, task management, and incident prevention, supported by photographic evidence to ensure accuracy and impartiality. In addition to strengthening our quality improvement processes, Mitti enables us to provide clients with technology that promotes independence while maintaining safety, such as seizure alert systems. moa To streamline compliance and quality improvement, we use moa, a digital governance and continuous improvement tool. Led by our Service Improvement Manager, moa supports us with running audits, quality indicator reviews, conducting surveys, incident and risk management, and feedback processes. Using moa has reduced administrative time, increased visibility of service quality, and enabled faster data-driven decision-making, improved risk management, and continuous enhancement of support outcomes. Among our wide range of training courses, our Safety Intervention and Safety Intervention Advanced courses are Bild ACT certified. By delivering this specialist training internally, we ensure our teams are not only compliant but also have specialist knowledge of de-escalation and crisis management. Tier 2 Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Framework Amore Complex Care is fully compliant with the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism. We invest in classroom based Tier 2 training for our patient facing workforce, ensuring our staff engage in face to face learning that embeds deep behavioural expertise, clinical safety, and a profoundly person centred approach across all our service delivery in the North West and Yorkshire. Yorkshire Care Alliance To support ongoing improvement in our service delivery, we partnered with the Yorkshire Care Alliance, a community interest company connecting health and social care professionals across the region. As members, we participate in thought-leadership sessions covering a wide range of topics, all aimed at improving care delivery and outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
