Role – Female and Male Support workers

Location- L11 Noris Green

Salary – £14.57 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Shifts – I have both day shifts and night shifts 8 am – 8pm / 8pm – 8am

Expected hours – going from 24 hours per week

Competent verbal and written English-

Must have experience within health and social care settings

• How many people support me at one time? I am supported on a 2:1 in the day and 2-1 of a night
• What I like – I enjoy meeting people who are calm and patient who also can engage and have fun with me
• What shift patterns do my team do? Both day and waking night shifts

Job Description:

SUPPORT WORKERS – 

At the request of our client, this role is open to female applicants only. 

Want an exciting role to learn new skills and build experience?  We are looking for friendly and kind Support Workers to support a  lady in her thirties who is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and has a mild learning disability.

You will support her to follow her religious practices in her Kosher home and help our client to access her favourite activities, from baking to going to the pub with her friends. We will provide comprehensive training in your induction to help you feel confident in your role.

Location: Prestwich, Greater Manchester

Pay: From £14.57 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Package: 1:1 basis during both the day and sleep shifts

Shifts: 8:00am-11:00pm day shift, and then a sleep shift

About the Role

• You will be supporting a lady who is 34 years old who has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and has a mild learning disability
• This role has an emphasis on community activities such as swimming, cycling, and trips to the pub where our client can socialise with her friends. You will engage in her hobbies in and outside the home, such as baking
• We are looking for a Support Worker who will engage with our client and is interested in getting to know them. building trust and enabling their religious practices in a Kosher home

I am a 34 year old lady who is sociable and friendly. I enjoy:

• Spending time with my family and wider social circle. who I have good relationships with
• Going to the pub with my friends
• Getting active with swimming and cycling
• Engaging with my religion within a Kosher home

I want to attend a synagogue in the future, so I want my staff to be curious to learn more about my interests and my faith. Building trust with my staff team is important to me, and you will need to be a friendly person who is willing to engage in my activities.

• Wednesdays: 9am – 5pm
• Saturdays: 9am – 5pm
• Sundays:  8am – 7pm

Amore Complex Care is looking for energetic support workers to support a young female, she loves knitting, gardening, and accessing her local community. When at home, she really enjoys watching musicals.

My Support Requirements

I have autism, and some conditions which restrict my mobility, so I sometimes use a wheelchair. I can get anxious quite quickly and need support with this, I also have, ASD, ADHD, Tourette’s (including tics, which often present more when she is comfortable), and experiences hypermobility.

What am I looking for in a Support Worker?

I get on well with mature, outgoing people who can engage with me about my hobbies, interests, and aspirations.

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to progress in your career? We’re hiring a Clinical Support Worker for waking nights shifts.

In this role, you will support a gentleman in his 50s, who requires clinical support, including tracheostomy care. During the induction process, we provide full training – giving you the skills and confidence to provide excellent support.

Location: Birkenhead

Pay: £14.65 – £16.81 (Holiday Entitlement Excluded)

Package: 2:1 basis

Shifts: Days 08:00 – 20:00 and nights 20:00 – 08:00

About the Role

• You will support a gentleman in his 50s, who is non-verbal due to having an ABI, which affects his communication
• The client require support with tracheostomy, peg-feeding, and movement via a hoist, as he has paralysis on his left side
• He can also have seizures and is none verbal but will communicate via eye moment

I am a family man with a great sense of humour – some may describe me as cheeky as I like to have banter with my Support Workers!

What are my interests?

I love football and I am a massive Everton FC fan. I also love watching Netflix and getting out and about in the community.

What are my support requirements?

I am diagnosed with Athetoid cerebral palsy and have a severe learning disability. I also need support managing my diabetes and providing help with my mobility as I am a wheelchair user.

What am I looking for in a Support Team?

I would like chatty and confident staff who can have a laugh with me. Also, as I love getting about and about, they should have a manual driving licence so they can take me out in my van.

Lastly, I am looking for team who are compassionate, patient and reliable – providing me with consistent support and creating a positive environment.

What are my aspirations?

I want to continue living a happy and fulfilling life with my family.
