Why did you want to join Amore Complex Care?

I wanted to work for Amore Complex Care as I had a brother with a disability growing up and I liked looking after him, so support work appealed to me as I found it rewarding.

What do you love most about your role?

I love how rewarding my role can be and making a difference to people’s lives on a daily basis.

Tell us about your experience at Amore Complex Care.

I joined as a Support Worker and completed all mandatory training, along with training in buccal and ABI. After a year as a Support Worker, I progress to a Senior Support Worker and I have been in that role for over 9 years.

What advice do you have for someone considering a career at Amore Complex Care?

I would advise people to go for it! I have been working for Amore Complex Care for over 10 years now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that I have referred family and friends to join the organisation.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

My hobbies include going to festivals and races, and I try to socialise with friends as much as possible. My biggest achievement is being a dad to my two beautiful kids, and my secret talent is that I played for Crewe Alexander when I was a kid.
